  • Summer 2003-Winter 2005. Principal author for all online content for Robert Lerner, Standish Meacham et al, Western Civilizations 15/e (W. W. Norton), Spring 2005. Complete revision of 14/e content including twenty interactive map exercises and twelve Digital History Features. Also served as map consultant for text, creating twenty-five new maps with captions.
  • Spring 2001-Spring 2002. Principal author for the online Tutor companion for Robert Lerner, Standish Meacham et al, Western Civilizations 14/e (W. W. Norton), The project involves writing twenty-five multiple choice question quizzes, crosswords, and detailed outlines for each of the thirty-two chapters. There are also eight map exercises and thirty-two topic modules. Also authored several chapters of the Instructor's Manual. The online Tutor is available at http://.wwnorton.com/wciv. 
  • February-August 1997. Served as Director and System Administrator of The Wade Edwards Learning Lab (Raleigh, NC), a non-profit organization that provides computer terminals and training for the students of Needham B. Broughton High School.
  • August 1978-August 1981. Material handler and foreman of the shipping and receiving department at Deck House, Inc., of Acton, MA, a company that manufactures high-end pre-cut homes.
